Summary: When you switch to a new device or have not logged into your account for a long time, for account security, authorization verification is required to ensure that it is you performing the login operation. The specific verification methods include device verification, facial recognition verification, or security item verification. Please select and complete the verification authorization according to the method displayed on the page.

To protect your account security, the new device verification must follow the verification method shown on the page and cannot be switched to another method. On the web, depending on your recent device login activity, there will be different verification methods.

When entering the verification code and performing facial recognition, you must be on the same IP network environment. If there is a network inconsistency between the web and App, to complete the operation more smoothly, it is recommended to operate directly on the App, such as resetting your password.

Kind reminder: To avoid affecting your login operation, we recommend updating your App to the latest version. For details, please refer to: How to update the OKX App on Android phones?, How to update the OKX App on iPhone?

1. Facial Recognition Verification

For your account security, when logging in to your account on a new device, facial recognition verification must be performed by the person whose ID is bound to the account. Please follow the instructions on your phone to blink or nod/shake your head. Make sure your face is fully visible, do not block the camera, and perform the verification in a well-lit area.

If you fail facial recognition for the first time, please upgrade your App to the latest version and try facial recognition verification again. The success rate will be greatly improved.

Facial recognition for new device verification must be performed by the real-name account holder. If you are the real-name holder but facial recognition fails, please try the following methods:

  1. Make sure you have enabled OKX App permissions to access your photo album and camera.
  2. Update the OKX App, restart your phone, and clear the phone cache (latest Android version: 6.75.1, iOS: 6.75.0).
  3. Switch your network environment (switch from Wi-Fi to 4G/5G network).

If the above methods still do not resolve your issue, please use the email bound to your account to send photos of the front and back of your ID to official customer support. An engineer will follow up and assist you.

2. Device Verification

  1. If you choose device verification, please open the OKX App on your corresponding old device (such as iPhone) to authorize the operation. Once authorization is successful on the old App, you can log in to your account on the new device.

3. Security Item Verification

If your account has not completed identity verification, logging in on a new device will require verification of all security items bound to your account (phone, email, and authenticator App).

Kind reminder: The platform serves real-name account holders only. One ID document can only be used to verify one account. If you use someone else's ID to verify your account and it causes account or asset disputes, you will bear the risk yourself.

Notes:

1) Authorization is usually completed with an automatic redirect to the login page. If it does not redirect successfully, please click the "I have completed verification" button.

2) If none of the above methods allow you to authorize and log in, please contact customer support for manual assistance.

3) If a device has not logged in within 30 days, you need to log in again, and it can no longer be used as an authorized device.

4) You can download the App in the following ways: Android: Official download page;

iOS: Please log in to your ID account in the App Store, then search for "OKX" to download.
